Friends of Center 50+ is a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit organization established in 19992 to provide services and funds to the Salem Senior Center DBA: Center 50+ for the operations, support, materials, services, and capital improvements of the facility.

Did you know that Center 50+ is working to secure a strong future for local seniors with an endowment fund? These funds are held and managed by Oregon Community Fund - the goal is to help our donors legacy and gifts live forever. What an amazing legacy. Contributed $85,000 to the Center's Annual Budget

Funding the Center's Mission to evolve and grow to better serve this fast growing population, the 50+'rs of the Willamette Valley

Funded Home-bound Senior Visitor Program and the Friendship Brigade nursing home visitor program

Funded Center 50+'s COVID 19 response providing over 1,375 weekly connections to area seniors through friendship and Care/Food boxes
